BEST Chance Program

The BEST Chance program, a part of the Second Chance Society, helps former offenders gain the skills and support necessary to re-enter the workforce and build a sustainable and self-supporting career path. The Center’s role in the BEST Chance program is to provide training in customer service (leading to the NRF’s Customer Service and Sales Certification) along with a math refresher to prepare for trades classes, job placement assistance, weekly stipends, free transportation, paid internship, and support services.

The Center for Latino Progress is part of the collaborative developed to help navigate these individuals through the successful re-integration into their communities. The first group of students began the program in mid February 2016.

If you know of anyone who may be eligible for this program, please have them fill out the BEST Chance program application.
